RestoreCtl helps engineering teams verify backup restore reliability by running automated restore drills inside their own infrastructure. We respect your privacy and minimize data collection by design.

Data We Collect

• Work email (when you request pilot access)
• Company name and basic setup details
• Backup configuration metadata (S3 bucket path, restore settings)
• Operational logs from restore execution (timestamps, success/failure, performance metrics)

Data We Do NOT Collect

• Your actual database content (rows or records)
• Production data from your systems

How Data Is Used

We use collected information only to:

• Provide restore verification services
• Generate reports and audit evidence
• Improve system reliability
• Respond to pilot onboarding requests

Infrastructure Model

RestoreCtl runs inside your infrastructure (VPC or equivalent). Backup data remains in your environment. Only execution metadata (such as timestamps and job status) may be processed for reporting.

Third-Party Services

We use limited third-party services (e.g., form handling or email delivery) only for onboarding requests.

Data Retention

Operational logs and reports may be retained for audit and history purposes unless deletion is requested.
